Classroom Policy

for Emmaus Course 3

This policy contains guidelines that are in line with the vision and purpose of the Emmaus Bible Course. These guidelines seek to create an environment for students to gain the best possible learning and life-transforming experience at the Emmaus Bible Course. It is assumed that students who desire to attend Emmaus Bible Course are in agreement with our vision and policy, and will commit to following these guidelines as a condition of their enrolment.

Note:

All students must attend the orientation on the scheduled date and time. Those who do not attend the orientation will be unable to continue the course.

Course 3 Guidelines

To enroll in Emmaus Course 3, applicants must have completed Emmaus Courses 1 and 2.

Emmaus Course 3 is a 5-month program. Applicants must attend all classes throughout the 5 months and cannot choose to attend only specific subjects.

  1. Class Times: - Fridays from 18:00 to 21:00 - Saturdays from 09:00 to 12:00 Each class is divided into 3 sessions, with each session lasting 50 minutes. There will be a 10-minute break between each session. Each class session will start on time.

  1. Students must attend all classes. Attendance will be taken each class.
  2. Students can miss or take leave for up to 1 class per subject and must notify the course staff in advance. Missing more than 1 class per subject will result in being unable to complete the course.
  3. Friday classes start at 18:00, and Saturday classes start at 09:00. Students arriving more than 10 minutes late will be marked as late for that class.
  4. Each session includes a 10-minute break. Students arriving late will be marked as late for that session.
  5. Students arriving late more than 9 times throughout the course will not be able to complete the course.
  1. Students are not allowed to use mobile phones, tablets, or any communication devices during classes, except for accessing Bible passages or taking notes for learning purposes.
  2. Students may use laptops in class if it is for learning purposes.
  3. Students may not bring friends or children into the classroom during class sessions.
  4. Students may bring beverages into the classroom but must ensure cleanliness and avoid causing disturbances to others.
  5. Students must behave appropriately and refrain from actions that could disrupt other students' learning.
  6. Students must dress modestly: no flip-flops (slippers), shorts, or tight-fitting clothing.
  7. Students cannot record audio or video during the lessons.

  2. Students who do not submit all the assignments will not complete the course.

  2. Fees must be paid by the first day of each subject (or all at once if preferred).
  3. Paid fees are non-refundable.

  2. The audio files are intended for individual study only. Copying, selling, or sharing these files without permission is prohibited.

All students must attend the graduation ceremony to receive their certificates, signifying the completion of the course.

Requirements for Learning via Zoom

  1. Attend classes on time (rules regarding absence, leave, and lateness are the same as in-person classes).
  2. Use your real name and surname when signing in to Zoom so that your attendance can be taken.
  3. Keep your camera on throughout the class (microphones should be muted).
  4. Be in a quiet, undisturbed location.
  5. Do not attend classes while driving.
  6. Do not invite people who are not students to join the class.
  7. Do not share the class link with others.
